It's taken me 200+ hours (maybe more) to fix the rules, write a VERY professional program and enter all the data. I might package it all together and offer it for sale! ; )
I'd have happily paid £100, just for time-saving of the data entry. I need to recompense my talented coder for all his time, being that he hasn't the slightest interest in CNA itself.

Hi ATD,
Have you settled on a price yet for your new rules set ? I am very keen for an updated rules set having read all the discussions about the holes in the legacy set it's turned me off starting a game with them.
Thanks New Player

I must admit, if it's priced at 100 pounds I'm going to have to look more seriously at re-implementing it myself. I'd hate to duplicate work like that, but personally that's well outside any budget I could stretch to. It's not entirely clear you'd have license to do so, either. Berg freely said you could share any play aids - provided the use was non-commercial. Making such an aid and selling it might attract the wrong sort of attention

Play aids do not infringe copyright. The rules, as provided were woefully inadequate and the late Richard, confided as much. It's hardly a commercial venture in that the work runs to hundreds of man-hours. Many. Just the loading of all the start data alone would be worth it.
By all means, if you have 500++ hours to spend and the skills, have a go at it. I would much rather have bought what we have produced (at this standard) from you than expend all this time myself.
I think that amount is very reasonable for what the system does and the work it represents but if you don't agree, fill your boots! : )
